Research on the Impact of Technical Measures on Enterprise Export Participation

Technical Measures to Trade have the characteristics of strong concealment and imperceptibility, which makes some WTO members frequently use “technical barriers” restrict China’s product exports. Based on multi-period differences-in-differences method, we micro-data at level Chinese companies from 2000 2013 empirically test impact technical measures export participation perspective corporate heterogeneity. The study found that for strength measures, coefficients variables are all significantly positive. From types Trade, increase Barriers Pre-shipment Inspection has improved enterprises, promotion effect Sanitary Phytosanitary degree enterprises is not significant. According intermediary model, it can be concluded there an indirect transmission channel through affect in diversification.
